Rabbit & Vegetable Garden

 

Learn how to layer, fill and crumb coat a Victoria sponge before covering the cake with fondant icing and then making a standing rabbit figure and vegetable garden together with white picket fencing and a robin. Using a mixture of fondant and modelling paste, this class is suitable for all levels including those new to modelling however please note this class moves at a fast pace in order to fit everything in.

Buttercream Flowers

Using one of our ready-made Victoria Sponges you will learn about the different shaped piping nozzles and the techniques used to achieve  buttercream flowers and leave as well as how to achieve a smooth buttercream cover to your cake.

2-tier Fondant, Flowers & Stripes

 

This class is a great introduction to simple fondant and flowerpaste flowers.  Using 8" & 6" dummy tiers, you will learn how to cover the top tier with smooth fondant and the bottom tier with striped fondant.  You will learn how to make a selection of flowers and leaves and then how to apply them to your cake.  This class is suitable for all levels including those new to fondant.   

Please note there is no cake involved in this class, dummy tiers only.

Fondant Covered Cake

 

Perfect for beginners wanting to learn how to handle fondant and those wishing to refresh their existing skills, this class will teach you how to level, fill and crumb coat an 8" Victoria sponge with buttercream and perfectly cover your cake with fondant.

Beginners Figure Modelling

 

This fun class will teach you how to make seated figures using a mix of fondant and modelling paste.  Suitable for beginners and intermediate levels.

Please note this class does not include any cake covering. You will take away your finished figures on a cake board.
