Fondant Iced Christmas Cake

Working with a 6" round traditional, rich fruit Christmas cake*, you will learn how to cover your cake with marzipan and smooth fondant icing.  Using fondant and modelling paste we will make holly leaves and berries to adorn the top of the cake.  The cake can then be finished with a ribbon bow. 

 

* a ready-made (baked by me) Christmas cake is provided for this class - no baking is involved.

 

Everything you need to complete the class, including a box for transport, is provided.

 

Please bring an apron and a packed lunch.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake provided.
